For a lot of my clients, the process of planning travel takes away from the joy and excitement of the trip itself. As your travel advisor, I provide clarity, save you time, and eliminate the stress involved, making the entire experience of planning a trip much more enjoyable. - 6-12 months in advance: for complex international trips, safaris, or travel during peak seasons (holidays, summer, major events)
- 4-6 months in advance: for most international travel and multi-destination itineraries
- 2-3 months in advance: for domestic trips or simpler getaways
That said, we understand that sometimes trips come together last-minute! I’m happy to work with shorter timelines when possible, though availability and pricing may be more limited.
The earlier you start, the more options we have to secure the best accommodations and experiences for your trip.
Sometimes, yes! I often have access to preferred and negotiated rates but most of the time the price will be the *exact same* as if you were booking yourself! If it's ever more, it is usually not by much and the value of our exclusive perks outweighs the difference.
If you have never worked with a travel advisor before, our hotel booking service is a completely free and low-risk way to experience the benefits of working with a travel advisor!
Most travelers don’t realize this but every hotel, cruise, tour, and travel experience you book has built-in commission. So when booking a hotel through a travel advisor, we are paid a small commission from the hotel. So, essentially yes - we are paid, just not by you! In most cases, I’m able to book at the exact same rate as you while also adding exclusive perks like hotel credits, complimentary daily breakfast, and room upgrades without you paying anything extra.
Planning fees are only applied to travel planning packages to cover the time and resources dedicated to creating you a custom itinerary.
In most cases, no. Because these properties are individually managed, we can’t guarantee the quality or service. If you are looking for options with a shared space (like a kitchen, living or dining room), we will work with our partners to find vetted villas, apartments, and/or hotels that meet your needs. In select cases, we will assist with a VRBO or Airbnb bookings when it is the best or only option.
